Aminala is the indie folk and psychedelic music project of LA multi-instrumentalist Julian Borrego. In the recording studio, Borrego writes, records, performs, and produces most of the project’s music. Julian is a co-founder of Replant the Forest Festival, a nonprofit that produces music events partnering with reforestation and restoration projects.
As a touring act Aminala often consists of several musicians. Aminala released its first two EPs, Jinja and Mana, in 2022 and will be releasing another EP this fall followed by a full length record in early 2023.
