Los Angeles based Baba Jenkins sustained immediate commercial presence in early 2022 just weeks after finishing tracks for debut album “COPPER”. Thanks to Steve Ferrone at Sirius XM Tom Petty Radio and Cliff Beach at 88.5 The So Cal Sound, four tracks received airplay before the album was even released (Oct 2022).
To date their songs have landed on 850 playlists worldwide through Spotify and have 1.1 Million views on their music videos on You Tube. Check it out!
Firm believers and practitioners in making a difference, not just musically, but by helping those in need, Baba Jenkins works with and supports Sharing Love With Others, a charitable organization in Los Angeles founded and run by Maxine Sealy and her amazing team of volunteers, which feed 400+ people living on Skid Row every Saturday afternoon, and more than double that during the holidays, without missing a beat. As of December 2022, Baba Jenkins has donated from ticket and merchandise sales over $2000 and counting to Sharing Love With Others with the ultimate goal of doing this on a global scale. Funk music artist Cliff Beach has been performing live for more than 20 years in Los Angeles. The Berklee-trained singer/songwriter/keyboardist and DC native has created a style of music he coins as “Nu-funk”, a hybrid of soul, traditional R&B, funk and neo-soul which he performs regularly throughout Southern California. In 2013, Cliff released the highly anticipated “Who the Funk is Cliff Beach?” EP, independently, which was nominated for three LA Music Awards including “Record of the Year” and one Hollywood Music in Media award. Cliff also received national press in a featured live review in Music Connection Magazine in Nov. 2013 and was a featured performer at TEDx Napa Valley in March 2014.. Cliff is currently promoting his new album entitled “The Gospel According to Cliff Beach”, which was nominated for an Independent Music Award (Funk/Fusion Jam Album); winner of 2 Global Music Awards.
