$10.00LOS ANGELES (May 5, 2022) – LA singer/songwriter Dani Hagan has released her debut single, “Good Guy” from her forthcoming album to be released later this year via Stems.
Southern-tinged rock with an arena-sized punch, “Good Guy” celebrates the gentlemen that still exist out there.
“I’m a highly independent and empowered woman, who happens to have a lot of incredible men in my life,” Dani says. “I wanted to write a song to celebrate the men who support and encourage me and give me hope for the future. It’s tough out there, and I’ve built an awesome community around myself of both men and women, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Also, everyone needs a reminder that good guys are still out there, and definitely worth the wait.”
Born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota and now based in Los Angeles, Dani has been developing her own brand of Southern rock over the past few years, performing regularly at some of LA’s most iconic venues, including The Viper Room, Molly Malone’s and The Mint. 2021 was her breakthrough year, releasing a three-track live EP ‘Jam In the Van.’ This year she teamed up with famed producer, Mikal Blue (OneRepublic, Jason Mraz), and is gearing up to drop a series of singles and new album later this year.
Dani hosted a livestream performance from Mikal Blue’s studio in Los Angeles Saturday May 7. Many people tuned in to watch her perform “Good Guy” and more tracks from the upcoming album.
Dani is not only a prominent player in LA’s music circles, but she is also a founding member of Gritty In Pink, a community of diverse female creators working in the music industry, providing connection, access, and opportunities through their inclusive network.
