David Perez Babich is an award-winning songwriter, actor and director, with songs featured in numerous films and other media.  Babich has been doubling on music and acting since he played the role of Woody Guthrie in the late nineties in the hit musical, Woody Guthrie’s American song.

He began his songwriting and composing career in San Francisco, hitting every coffee house and acoustic club that would have him, and moved to LA in 2006 where he released his first two albums, Mind Aside and Long Last Goodbye and played the acoustic club scene as a solo performer and with his band, Red Light Camera.  “If I Had You”  from the Mind Aside EP was awarded top honorable mention in the 2010 Billboard World Songwriting Contest.

In 2013 David played a mini tour in Tokyo after his release “Long Last Goodbye”.

His 2020 Music Video “Lonely Wayward” was a semi-finalist in the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.

David has appeared as an actor and musician in over a dozen television episodes, including Killing it, Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy, Why Women Kill, Grownish, Get Shorty, American Crime Story and Liza on Demand.  In 2021, he appeared alongside Dietrich Bader and his after school rock band in the network comedy series,  American Housewife.

Give Me Motion is the alt-rock bedroom-pop music project from songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dante Cimadamore (Tessa Violet, Epic Rap Battles of History). The music ranges from triumphant full band electric anthems to solo ukulele ballads. Weaving it all together is Dante’s unique lyrical compositions that ask us to ask more from ourselves. Give Me Motion features Erik Groysman on guitar, Chloe Babbes Brown on bass, and Kevin Brown on drums.

Mitchell was born in New York. At 16, inspired by Michael Jackson, Nirvana, and The Beatles, he began playing guitar and committed himself to music. He moved to Los Angeles at 19 in search of inspiration and collaboration. He formed bands and played shows in both LA and NY, but relied on his own creativity to mold his records. In 2006, he released his first solo album, “Inside of My Heart”. The song “You’re a Day” from that release was featured on this show “One Tree Hill”. In 2010, he released the self- titled album “Mitchell” to high acclaim. He won the 2010 Malibu Music Awards “Best Indie Rock” Award. Suzanne Baran of The Big Takeover wrote “Mitchell sings of loss and pain, with candid sentimentality. He has a very light, uplifting voice, which steadily emotes with each chord and drum beat. His music is simple, yet interspersed with complex emotions.” He created a new composition of Jeremy Jordan’s platinum hit “The Right Kind of Love” and recently released a thought-provoking single “The Future Is.” He is an artist on the rise, as indicated by his endorsement with Monster Energy Drink.
