goodboy noah with BUZZ & Meron
December 13, 2021 7:00 pm PST
Doors Open: 6:30 pm$10
After independently accumulating over 6 million streams on SoundCloud thanks to his breakout song “Airport Bar” in 2015, goodboy noah has seen a whirlwind several years. Fresh off a debut EP with the Orchard, the R&B/Neo-Soul singer was featured on several Spotify New Music Friday’s and Apple Music’s New in R&B, and saw press coverage by Ones To Watch, VARIANCE, Sheesh Mag, This Song Is Sick, and Early Rising. Noah’s ear-wormy R&B melodies, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, and lighthearted personality have also recently led to partnerships with the likes of Warby Parker, Pilot Pen, and Kettle Brand.
Off the heels of an established pop songwriting career in LA with credits including Katy Perry, Lady A, Bebe Rexha, Kylie Minogue, and many others – BUZZ is ready to step out on her own. Her self-written and produced debut single “FTN” has already racked up more than 100k streams on Spotify alone in under a month, with early support from Spotify coming through with the #1 spot on Fresh Finds and the #3 spot on SALT. Now her second single “Misfit” follows suit with playlisting support and a rapidly growing fan base of weirdos and outcasts following her to live shows around LA. Her love of synths, weird sounds, and saying whatever she feels coupled with her signature danceable/blastable choruses has defined a brand new sound for the young artist, and she’s just getting started.
Meron, a first-generation Ethiopian-American from Boulder, CO, began her musical career at the age of 12 when she first received opera training. Her original goal when moving to LA was to write songs for other artists, but soon realized she wanted to create and tell her own story as well. Meron’s debut EP, Daisy, comes out February 18th.
