Doors Open: 7:30 pm$10
According to The New York Times, Kalie Shorr’s debut album – Open Book – was the #7 Best Album of 2019 alongside Taylor Swift, Lana Del Ray and Ariana Grande. Along with a long list of other accolades, Variety called Open Book “2019’s best freshman country effort,” and Stereogum said “country music needs this kind of fire.”
Shorr burst onto the Nashville music scene in 2016 with her self-penned hit “Fight Like A Girl” and shortly after, the Portland, Maine singer-songwriter became a SiriusXM “Highway Find” and was spotlighted by Apple Music, Spotify, CMT, Pandora, Taste of Country and Billboard magazine. She was named a “CMT Next Women of Country,” “The New Nashville” by Teen Vogueand a “Top 10 Country Artists To Watch In 2018” by the Huffington Post. She made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2018 and has gone on to play that heralded stage 20 times so far.
She rang in 2020 performing for over 200,000 people at Nashville’s largest-ever New Year’s Eve show with Keith Urban, Stevie Nicks, Jason Isbell, The Struts and more. With wide praise for her debut album current album coming from diverse outlets like NPR, Slate, People, No Depression, Rolling Stone and more, Shorr’s 2020 lit up with The Guardian (UK) and The Tennessean calling her an artist to watch.
She is the most recent signee to New York-based TMWRK Records who released the expanded album Open Book: Unabridged late last year. In January, an acoustic, unreleased Kalie song called “Amy” exploded on TikTok with over 3 million streams after which esteemed producer Butch Walker jumped in to produce that track, her newest single “Love Child” and a full EP in August of 2021, supported by an opening slot on All Time Low’s international fall 2021 tour. In addition, Kalie continues to create a weekly podcast called “Too Much to Say with Kalie Shorr” produced by Bobby Bones and distributed by iHeartMedia.
Cali Rodi is an explosive alt-pop newcomer poised to bring a new energy to your playlist. Inspired by the iconic sounds of the early 2000’s, the teenage angst of the Warped Tour pop-punk scene, and rearview-mirror shaking 808’s, the Los Angeles based artist is redefining the genre in a way that feels both fresh, yet nostalgic, all at once.
Growing up in the small cowboy town of Cave Creek, Arizona, the singer-songwriter was raised on steady diet of blink-182 and Britney Spears. Cali moved to Nashville for college, where she caught the attention of superstar Keith Urban and was signed to his publishing venture, Boom Songs.
Recently, her cover of “Drivers License” went viral on Tik Tok, and her original songs have been featured on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” and Apple Music’s “Who Runs The World” playlists. Cali is currently working on her debut project with legendary vocal producer Emily Wright (Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus).
With just three short years in Nashville, Sam Varga has already established himself as a serious writer and dynamic performer. Coming up in the fast paced punk scenes of his high school days and the Blues of Austin, Texas, there is an edge and energy that makes his songs stand out in Music City.
After quickly coming up through the writing ranks in Nashville, Sam turned his attention to his solo career, amassing over a million streams on Spotify with 40k monthly listeners and several viral videos from over 100k TikTok followers. Coming off of multiple viral releases, his latest single “Fall Down” hints at a new direction and a nod to his pop/punk & emo roots..
