We’re bringing together 5 incredible Latina artists to grace the stage at Hotel Cafe. As LA Playground’s 8th show, we’re proud to continue sharing the vibrant Latin music culture with our community. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable evening!

7:15pm – 7:45pm : Chesca

The San Francisco born, New York bred, Mexican-American singer-songwriter has captivated audiences with her unique vocal style and eclectic vibe that incorporates everything from pop, dream pop and R&B to EDM. Her songs artfully blend hard-hitting themes of struggle and breakthrough with ultra-infectious neo soul and dance energy. Recently, she was interviewed by People en Español and featured in Hola! for her new album in English and Spanish, Ten Las Canciones. Her songs have been played at New York Fashion Week, AVP Pro Beach Volleyball tournament, Crunch Fitness Club, Gap stores and New York City restaurants and nightclubs. She has performed her songs in English and Spanish at intimate nightclubs and other venues in NYC such as Arlene’s Grocery, Bowery Electric, Drom, Rockwood Music Hall, Mercury Lounge, Pianos, Heaven Can Wait, Parkside Lounge, Electric Room, FishBowl – Dream Midtown and the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

8:00pm – 8:30pm – Odil

ODIL is an alternative pop singer-songwriter hailing from Argentina, now based in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. With a magnetic presence and a passion for captivating melodies, ODIL’s musical journey has taken her from the heart of Buenos Aires to the bustling streets of LA.

Influenced by a diverse range of genres including soul, jazz, and Argentinian rock, ODIL’s sound is a fusion of eclectic influences that defy categorization.
With a knack for crafting infectious hooks and thought-provoking lyrics, ODIL has garnered attention both as a solo artist and as a collaborator. Her dynamic vocals and introspective songwriting have earned her opportunities to record for platforms like Netflix, showcasing her versatility and depth as an artist.

In addition to her solo pursuits, ODIL has also explored the realm of co-writing, lending her talents to other artists seeking to bring their visions to life.
Recently, ODIL unveiled her debut EP, “Numen,” a collection of songs that showcase her distinctive style and artistic vision. With its lush sonic landscapes and soul-stirring melodies, “Numen” represents a bold step forward for ODIL as she continues to carve out her place in the music scene.

As she embarks on this new chapter of her musical journey, ODIL invites listeners to join her on an unforgettable sonic adventure, where every note is infused with passion, creativity, and a touch of magic.

8:45pm – 9:15pm – Saint
SAINT creates a versatile blend of English and Spanish compositions that fuse the rhythm of Latin Pop, R&B, and soul. She is a first generation Cuban-American singer-songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Miami, FL, and enjoys producing songs that provoke cultural norms through her lyrics, soulful harmonies and unique melodic arrangements. Emotions resonate in her soulful, velvet voice, breathing life into her lyrics with the texture and rawness of her timbre. Her artist name Saint is an ode to her family name ‘Santos’ which means ‘Saints.’ She began her musical journey with playing piano at age 3 and songwriting at age 8. She resides in Santa Ana, CA and performs locally and abroad with her band.
Music influences include Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Sharon Jones, Nina Simone, Lauryn Hill, Selena, Orishas, and Mon Laferte.
9:30pm – 10:00pm – Laura Rizzotto
Laura Rizzotto is a Latvian/Brazilian award-winning singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. The Berklee alumni was signed at 17 to Universal Music Brazil, with whom she released her 1st album. The “girl from Ipanema” is now an independent artist, and has shared the stage with stars such as Demi Lovato, Colbie Caillat, and Rosanne Cash. She has also collaborated with Grammy Award winning maestro Eumir Deodato and worked as a Portuguese vocal coach for global superstar Jennifer Lopez. Laura represented Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, the biggest music festival in the world, where she performed her original song “Funny Girl” for an audience of nearly 200 million viewers. The following year, the Brazilian artist was featured on Forbes after making history as the first ever artist to release a new song with a performance in hologram form.
10:15pm – 10:45pm -Nia Padilla
Nia Padilla is a Mexican-American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. She is best known for her performance as a grand finalist on Estrella TV’s Tengo Talento Mucho Talento during their thirteenth season. She is currently working on a Latin-inspired project where her songs “Ansiedad” & “Agua” were featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday Latin. Nia Padilla’s music blends RnB/Soul feels with Latin inspired beats like you’ve never heard them before. The way she weaves in both English and Spanish makes her music not only a growing trend but a statement symbolizing her bicultural experience.
