Nashville-based anti-country country artist Lou Ridley recently released her EP Angel/Outlaw. The six-track project explores the universally relatable struggle of heartbreaks and the extreme strength it takes to overcome them and the feeling of being stuck. Led by the release of intro “Hellfire” and single “Delivered,” which received praise from People Magazine, E! Magazine, Wide Open Country, Houstonia Magazine, and more, the EP also features a ChopNotSlop collaboration with Texas Legend DJ Candlestick.
Angel/Outlaw places Lou as an upcoming voice for both new and current listeners that are longing for a new sound and narrative within the genre. Lou demonstrates a songwriting prowess by effortlessly writing lyrics that are deeply raw and personal by using unfiltered storytelling that resonates with all those she comes across.
