Mykel

Mykel is a dynamic vocalist and singer-songwriter, with diverse music featuring anthemic and power ballad pop with an R&B influence. Her sound has been compared to artists including Sabrina Carpenter, H.E.R., Jessie J, Zara Larsson, Mahalia, and Tori Kelly. Mykel has performed at iconic venues including The Staples Center and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Her songs have been heard on television programs including the Bravo network reality series’ Vanderpump Rules and Real Housewives of Orange County; in eight Lifetime original movies including Inspired to Kill, Party Mom and His Secret Family; and in three Venezualean telenovelas.

Involved in singing, dance and musical theater from a young age, (Britney) Mykel began writing songs in 2014 and released her well-received debut EP — Imagine — in 2015. She has written, published and performed multiple original singles, including
the standout songs Everything I Thought I Knew, Maybe, Rules, That One Thing, and Runners. In 2016, Mykel moved from her hometown near Salt Lake City to L.A. to pursue her music career. Before relocating to the West Coast, Mykel was the lead
singer in “The Rock Show” at the Lagoon theme park in Utah. She has also toured nationally with the acclaimed Crescent Super Band and theatrical companies — singing, playing keyboard and entertaining fans across the country.

Mykel’s music and videos convey messages of authenticity, human empowerment, body positivity and the importance of mental and emotional wellbeing. In her own words: “Music is my personal coping mechanism. It’s how I relate to the world
