Orion Shoals are a Los Angeles based indie rock band. The band formed in the summer of 2020 in Nantucket, Massachusetts. The band consists of singer/songwriter/guitarist Joe Olney and multi-instrumentalist/producer Floyd Kellogg.
Orion Shoals have a rustic yet progressive sound. They are influenced by such acts as Bruce Springsteen, The War on Drugs, The National, Townes Van Zandt, David Bowie and Muddy Waters.
