Oscar Stembridge

Oscar is one of the most exciting young talents to emerge from Sweden in years. He is a multi-talented musician playing piano, bass, drums and his trademark guitar. Oscar has built a dedicated global following on social media and performed live at many prestigious events including for the Swedish Royal Family and for millions on TV.

He was the youngest ever artist to sign for Universal Music Scandinavia before deciding to become an independent artist to pursue his own songwriting and develop his own musical style culminating in the release of his critically acclaimed debut EP, THIR13EN.

An accomplished singer-songwriter, Oscar’s compelling persona is matched by his ability to pen authentic songs that tackle today’s societal challenges head on. His passion for raising awareness on issues like climate change, bullying, fake culture and social alienation through his authentic writing and catchy melodies led to him winning the prestigious Best Newcomer (“Rookie”) Artist of the Year at the Sweden Pop Awards in 2022.

Oscar has performed live across Scandinavia, the US and UK from small intimate acoustic gigs to main stages with over 50,000 people. He became the youngest artist ever to perform on the Main Stage at Boardmasters and played his first headline show to a sold out venue in Stockholm earlier this year. A new documentary about Oscar’s inspiring journey so far will premiere later this summer! Currently working on his debut album, this is just the beginning for Oscar.
