Doors Open: 6:30pm
$12Rebecca Aaron
Rebecca Aaron’s acoustic-driven folk-pop is reminiscent of her Southern California roots — with smooth strumming, soft yet powerful melodies, and lyrics as emotionally vulnerable as they are evocative. Rebecca’s sound clearly draws inspiration from a deep well of country-crossover acts, spanning the gamut from classic 70s artists like James Taylor and Fleetwood Mac to more modern counterparts like Donovan Woods and Kacey Musgraves. Her distinctively intimate storytelling, highlighted by subtle Americana flare, is as much meant for listening on a rainy day as it is for jamming out in the car.
Danielle Durack
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Danielle Durack emerged onto the indie-rock music scene with a refreshingly earnest and unpretentious sound. A true child of 2000’s pop, Durack’s music has always boasted saccharine hooks, streamlined songwriting, and a penchant for the dramatic. This year, Durack released No Place – a self-professed breakup record and a towering achievement, both its lyrical honesty and its musical ambition. No Place is Danielle Durack at her most refined and focused; it is both the most vulnerable and the most poised she has ever been on the record. The album drew the attention of Pitchfork, NPR, Uproxx, among other prominent indie music outlets. Danielle Durack is rapidly solidifying as a must-know name if you care about indie rock’s next gen.
