Spotlight Sessions Presents: Daryy, Manu Beker, Nia Padilla & Carlos Dia
September 23 9:00 pm PDT
Doors Open: 8:30 pm$10
Manu Beker is an indie pop songwriter from Mexico City. He is currently part of the up and coming pop scene in Mexico and has worked with numerous major label artists and grammy award winners.
Nia Padilla is a Mexican-American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. Her music blends RnB feels with Latin inspired beats like you’ve never heard them before. Her innovative way to weave in both English and Spanish lyrics makes her music not only a growing trend but a cultural statement symbolizing her bicultural background.
Nia Padilla’s newest single “Cielo” is out now on all streaming platforms.
Carlos DÍa is a Mexican singer-songwriter who has been living in the United States for 18 years. He started singing at a very young age and at 10 he composed his first song. At the age of 21, Carlos decided to start a musical career under the stage name Carlos Arturo. At that time he recorded his first EP titled ‘Como Amigos’. He also had the opportunity to represent the Latino community by singing the national anthem at the Staples Center for a Lakers game. After the passing of one of his greatest influences, Carlos decided to change his stage name to Carlos DÍa, honouring his grandmother. Debuting his stage name, he released his first single, titled ‘Somos Uno’, a song inspired by the political changes affecting the Latino and LGBTQ+ community in the United States.
The artist has been making music for over 10 years, integrating everything he has learned from his time in his hometown and from influential Latin and urban music artists of all time. He would describe his sound as a deep blend of Latin and urban genres with powerful hooks and verses that draw you in with every story he portrays.
His latest single, ‘Si nos amanece’ is already available on all digital platforms such as Spotify and Youtube.
