Spotlight Sessions Presents: Christie Huff, Cyler James, Austin Poel & Pat McManus

September 28, 2021 7:00 pm PDT

Second Stage

Doors Open: 6:30 pm

Glennellen Anderson has made only two promises to herself for this life. One, she would never dye or change her natural red locks and two, she would absolutely make a name for herself in this industry. At no surprise to anyone, she has definitely kept her word.

Inspirations for this delicate darkness range from her teenage idol Lana Del Rey to newer sensations such as Upsahl, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Lennon Stella, and Charlotte Lawrence.

Unbirthday is the start of a whole new era for Anderson and G is determined to let the world know she has something to celebrate!

Pat McManus
From Boston, MA, Pat is a producer/singer-songwriter that also has a side project named “Jean Whispers” which is a blend of 90s rock and grunge. He’s excited to take you into the world of “Jean Whispers” along with some heart felt folk tunes in a cool blend that makes Pat who he is.

Austin Poel
Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, I grew up playing in rock n roll cover bands all around Michigan and the mid-west. In 2012 I eventually took a leap of faith and moved to L.A. to explore a career as a solo artist. I always knew I could play guitar and write, but it took many years to come out and be comfortable with myself as a singer.

I bask in uplifting, dance, beach party vibes. I keep it positive. I have a wide variety of influences from The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Jim Morrison, Bob Marley, Kurt Cobain and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

“If people are dancing to my songs around a pool or beach, I’ve done my job” 🙂

I love to keep things upbeat and funky. I love to write feel good summer songs. The type of music you can put on while cruising to the beach. Lately, I’ve been exploring a lot of heavy bass grooves with a relaxing-chill topline vibe.

new single ‘de la costa’ out 9.17.21

Cyler James
Cyler James hails from the serene state of Idaho. Raised in a small town Cyler learned to love the music that inspired him and wasn’t influenced by anything forced upon him. Spending days in his mother’s music collection, or watching his father play shows on the weekend, he slowly grew a unique palette for music that would ultimately shape him as an artist. A third generation musician, Cyler came to LA almost 10 years ago with a bag of clothes determined to make a name for himself. And now almost 10 years later he has played some of the most legendary venues in LA and crossed a lot of bucket list items off. His next chapter has led him to more writing and producing but the love of performing will always remain.
