7:00 – Ben Greenberg
Ben Greenberg is an indie/folk singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. He released his debut album “Son of the Hills” during the pandemic, reaching a growing and enthusiastic audience. His heartfelt and vulnerable lyrics weave together vivid imagery with poetic and personal narratives. Through his songs and performances, Ben seeks to offer connection, authenticity, and recognition of the beauty and complexity of life.
7:45 – Seneca
I am a Los Angeles based studio musician and vocalist, writing sad songs for sad people.
8:30 – Jordan Tariff & Chandler Leighton
Jordan Tariff is an LA based singer songwriter whose writing extends through the pop, electronic, singer-songwriter and Indi music worlds. After writing/working with the likes of Jason Ross, Seven Lions, Slander, Chandler Leighton and more Jordan gets ready to release his own project centered around heart break and love.
Chandler Leighton is an indie artist born and raised in LA, who first came into the music scene writing for Electronic music DJ’s such as Illenium, Slander, and Jason Ross. After leaving the electronic world, she keeps her sad, dark songwriting elements, and with her latest singles, turns them into acoustic driven dark pop.
9:15 – Ellen McNeill
Hi, I’m Ellen. I love to write songs that make people feel, and usually you can find me wandering somewhere on the Indie Jazz spectrum. I’m releasing my first ever single later this year and I am so excited to share a slice of my soul with you on November 18th 🙂
10:00 – Tina Mathieu
Tina Mathieu is an indie alt-folk soul artist based in Los Angeles. Her intimate songwriting and textured vocals give an angsty Alanis vibe with nods to the quiet storm of Sade. With songs featured in over a dozen film, TV and national ad campaigns (NBC, Lifetime, Dove), Tina also writes for a myriad of pop projects and social justice initiatives. Her upcoming EP, This Blue Shall Pass, a collection of songs for a sad girl winter, releases on November 18th.
10:45 – Mike Medina
11:30 – Jack and Benny Lipson
Twin composers, songsters and multi-instrumentalists Jack & Benny Lipson “bound toward what’s next in the world of sound,” where their jazz, theater, and classical roots score trenchant lyrics at once satirical and optimistic, contemporary and utterly nostalgic. They debuted in 2016 alongside musician-comedian Reggie Watts and have since played their “sensational, clever, and astute” songs across the country in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Maine and Wyoming, where the Wyoming Theater Festival presented their original “musicalette” Miranda, Please! The brothers have supported such icons as Idina Menzel, Josh Groban, Herbie Hancock, and Barry Manilow in concerts at Disney Hall and the Hollywood Bowl, and in 2020 co-curated and -orchestrated a Weimar-era Berlin cabaret for the LA Philharmonic. Upcoming projects include a Lipson-produced and -arranged Christmas album for Pia Toscano, and a debut LP of their material.
