- This event has passed.

Not much cuts through the thick fog in the frigid Outer Sunset District of San Francisco- except for music spilling from one unassuming garage door a few blocks from the ocean. This is where the frontmen-brother duo of The Quilters grew up, and a landmark for the same local band that once hosted driveway shows during lockdown, who now dawn institutions such as The Independent (601 cap- Sold Out), Neck of the Woods, Bottom of the Hill, and the Golden Gate Park Bandshell to name a few.
Their sound is “West Coast Americana”- a recipe that calls for the classic rock of their parents’ generation, and progressive indie-folk. Their lyrics are cheerful and empathetic- like an old friend calling you to recount a story you almost forgot, then meeting them for a surf later.
The Quilters’ debut album ‘Hard to Explain’ can be streamed July 1.
