THE TALENT SHOW with Sam Jones: featuring Michael Shannon and music by The Spoilers

THE TALENT SHOW, is the newest series from Sam Jones, creator and host of Off Camera with Sam Jones. Billed as “a night of conversation, music, and curiosity,” The Talent Show is filmed in front of a live audience for an eventual documentary series. Every show features a different guest artist: actors, musicians, artists and other creative geniuses join Sam on the couch for a conversation about their unique career path, their successes and failures, and yes, their talent and how they have shaped and nurtured it. After the conversation, the guests get up and play music with Sam and the band The Spoilers, sharing their love of music while proving that talent is not limited to one area or pursuit.

The third installment features Michael Shannon, one of the most exciting actors working today, and a multi-hyphenate creative tinder box if there ever was one.  Expect the unexpected when Sam and Michael start talking about taking creative risks, real life risks, and risking it all. One thing that is guaranteed to come out of this conversation: it will be like nothing you have ever heard before.

After being a fly on the wall for this very curious conversation, the couch will be cleared away and the audience will get to see Michael sing some of his all time favorite songs with The Spoilers.

For Sam Jones, this series has been percolating in his brain for some time because music has played such a big part in his life in all of his other creative pursuits. He finally realized, why not just combine everything he loves into one thing. “For me, it is like the best night ever in my living room. There’s nothing I love more than getting into a deep conversation with an artist that I admire, and then talking them into playing some music with me. And the fact that there is a full bar doesn’t hurt either!
