Theo Kandel with Julián Dysart and Jimmy Berry

August 4 7:30 pm PDT

Main Stage

Doors Open: 6:30 pm

With over 125k followers across his social media platforms and 5M worldwide streams, Los Angeles-
based alternative pop singer-songwriter Theo Kandel is gearing up to release his forthcoming EP — What if it all works out in the end? — on September 22. Growing up in New York City, Theo established a basis in folk songwriting that he strengthened in Nashville during and after college, honing his craft into something a bit more mainstream. His songs are musically complex, layered, and blend a variety of instrumentation that creates a special alchemy; a musical fingerprint that directly identifies Kandel.
In their exclusive Existential Crisis premier, Wonderland Magazine wrote: “Dropping his bouncy new track, ‘Existential Crisis,’ the artist on the rise treats us to a slice of his syrupy vocals, accompanied by the flow of simple yet effective acoustic instrumentation on the new single. With tongue-in-cheek lyricism also melting into the track, which situates itself in between the folk and pop realms, a unique tone prevails, making it a truly captivating listen…. Irresistibly relatable and a bop worthy of the name, “Existential Crisis” is a tune deserving of your attention today.” FLAUNT raved, “candid, accessible and uninhibited lyricism outline alternative pop singer-songwriter Theo Kandel’s inspired Spin Cycle EP…‘i don’t wanna think about that’ is an infectious and musically cinematic single.” Ones To Watch recently echoed praise saying, “Theo Kandel is as honest and uninhibited as ever…”
Recent performances included sold out shows at New York City’s historic Bowery Ballroom, The Hamptons’ Stephen Talkhouse, and co-headline gigs at Washington DC’s Pearl Street Warehouse, Boston’s Sonia, and Philadelphia’s The Fire. Theo’s previously supported KT Tunstall, AJR, and the legendary John Oates (of Hall & Oates,) among others.

Julián Dysart
Born in Los Angeles to Mexican parents, Julián Dysart is a Latin alternative R&B artist, songwriter and producer with a multicultural influence. Julián began making beats and singing while playing jazz in various bands during high school and college. His sound has an innate sense of groove and melody, blending modern hip-hop production with his talents for Brazilian Guitar harmony and hypnotic Afro-Cuban hand-percussion.

Jimmy Berry
Philadelphia born and New Jersey raised, Jimmy Berry, the singer-songwriter/comedian/generally fun-loving dude, wears a lot of hats.

As a comic/writer/producer, Jimmy was the first hire at Almost Friday Media (@friday.beers), helping create some of the internet’s most viral memes, reels, and sketch comedy. He now hosts, performs, and produces his own comedy/musical variety show called Parking Space at his house in Venice Beach, CA. With 5 sold out shows under his belt, Jimmy’s show has already attracted the likes of headliners such as Chad Kroeger, JT Parr, Jared Goldstein, and Hanna Dickinson.

As a singer/songwriter, Jimmy was briefly featured on Season 19 of American Idol, and has opened for bands and artists such as Silvercup, RFA, and Baby Jake. His 4 song EP (with one bonus track) can be found on bandcamp.

As a writer alone, Jimmy’s work has been featured in The Drunken Canal.

Follow Jimmy on Instagram @jimmyblueberry because he really needs to grow his following.
