DESCRIPTION:Casey Abrams came from the small mountain town of Idyllwild\, where he studied jazz and music at the local\, well established high school\, Idyllwild Arts. He learned upright bass and piano from jazz legend Marshal Hawkins\, who played with Miles Davis\, Herbie Hancock and more. He presented Casey with the Sam Karam award for outstanding musical ability in ’09. \nCasey Abrams made it to 6th place on American Idol\, season 10\, 2011.\nHe performed with Jack Black on the American Idol Finale. He would later go on to sing on Jack’s live jazz show at the Catalina Club in Hollywood. After the show ended\, he and the top 11 of that season would go onto a 3 month international tour to sold out arenas. \nAfter his international television debut\, he was signed to Concord records\, releasing his self titled album which got him #1 in Billboard’s Heatseekers in 2012. This album was produced by Randy Jackson\, Steve Jordan and Martin Terefe. He went on to tour with this album across the United States. \nHe released a big Christmas hit with his fellow contestant\, Haley Reinhart singing “Baby It’s Cold Outside” in 2012. \nIn 2014\, he met Scott Bradlee\, who started the hit youtube band “Postmodern Jukebox” He would star in many videos and songs that would get millions of views. He would later go on to be one of the singers and host the show in many of their international tours. He still works with them to this day\, earning more than 100 million views on youtube. \nHe played Piano on Haley Reinhart’s hit song for an Extra Gum commercial that went viral giving her a gold record for “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” in 2017. \nHe sang and played bass on Aubrey Logan’s 2019 album “Where the Sunshine is Expensive”\, earning her #1 in Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Album. \nHe put out 2 albums with Chesky Records “Put a Spell On You” and “Jazz”\, landing at #3 on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Albums Chart and #5 on Billboard’s overall Jazz Albums in 2018 \nHe sang “Eve of Destruction” with Cyndi Lauper in 2020 under Chesky Records. \nHe sang on Taylor Eigsti’s Grammy award winning album “Tree Falls” that won best contemporary instrumental album of 2022. \nHis videos with artist\, Stefano\, that went viral in 2023 has had over 30 million views on Instagram and Tik Tok and has released an EP to accompany the visuals. \nHe turned his duet of a broken dryer on Tik Tok into a pop hit on spotify with 8 million views on socials and 1.5 million plays on spotify \nHe is currently on the road with Dave Koz on his national Christmas Tour selling out big theaters all across the US.
