DESCRIPTION:Pet Monsters is a Los Angeles band of two highly accomplished creatives who have come together from the most remote corners of the world (Denmark & South Africa) in pursuit of creative independence\, autonomy and musical freedom: \nSteven Dayvid McKellar is a South African born musician\, songwriter and multi- instrumentalist best known as the lead singer and primary songwriter of the alternative rock band Civil Twilight. In 2005\, he moved to Los Angeles before settling in Nashville\, where Civil Twilight gained recognition for their cinematic sound and emotive songwriting. \nMcKellar has shared the stage with renowned acts such as Florence + the Machine\, Smashing Pumpkins\, and Jimmy Eat World\, while his music has been featured in popular TV series like One Tree Hill\, House\, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. In 2017\, he performed with Linkin Park at the Chester Bennington tribute concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Steven is also an accomplished visual artist with numerous art shows on his resume. \nRune Westberg is a Danish born Grammy nominated songwriter\, music producer\, engineer\, artist & multi-instrumentalist living and working in LA. His songs have over 500 million plays on Spotify. Other than having produced and written many award winning and platinum selling albums and singles he also composes music for film and television.
