DESCRIPTION:Zane Carney has been described as a “massive guitar player” by Thundercat and named “the future of electric guitar” by HuffPost. Carney’s discography includes collaborations with John Mayer\, Thundercat\, Avril Lavigne\, Natasha Bedingfield\, MIYAVI\, Joshua Bassett\, Joe Jonas and Justin Timberlake as well as serving as John Daversa’s guitarist with appearances on his Jazz Big Band and Small Band albums including the Grammy-nominated “Kaleidoscope Eyes\,” along with “Wobbly Dance Flower” featuring Bob Mintzer. \nHis band with Evan Rachel Wood (EVAN + ZANE) has performed all around the world and their sold-out shows “dazzle with an array of guitars and blister-worthy solos” (SF Weekly). In early 2024\, they performed a “Best Of EVAN + ZANE w/Orchestra” concert that was arranged\, orchestrated and conducted by Zane. Prior to that\, he served as lead guitarist\, arranger and founding member of CARNEY with his brother Reeve Carney\, an alternative rock group that opened for U2 and was signed to Interscope Records. As a guitarist\, he toured with artists including Joe Jonas\, Jonny Lang\, Foster The People and John Mayer. \nAs an artist\, Zane has a varied catalogue from the Singer-Songwriter of Confluence and warm guitar melodies of Amalgam to the hauntingly meditative Film and bombastic improvisation of his critically-acclaimed jazz album Alter Ego. His most recent single is “Is Anybody Else Out Here?” and he is currently recording his next solo artist singer-songwriter album\, set to be released in early 2027/ \nAcross social media platforms\, Zane Carney reaches an audience of more than 150k. His livestreams have amassed over 1 million views on twitch.tv/zanecarney\, where he has become known for his virtuosic performances\, music theory of gaming segments\, and live\, improvised compositions. \nZane has headlined shows in Japan\, Australia\, Korea\, Mexico\, Canada\, Europe\, and many cities across the USA including NYC\, LA\, Nashville\, Chicago and more.
