Hailing from the small town of Winters, California, Moody Slough draws inspiration from the tranquil landscapes and vibrant community of his hometown. Named after a street in Winters, his music blends introspective lyrics and soulful melodies, reflecting influences from folk rock bands like Fleet Foxes and My Morning Jacket to rock bands like Dredg and Karnivool.
Moody Slough’s debut EP, “Material Eyes,” showcases his acoustic roots, skillful guitar work, and emotive vocals. Currently, he is working on his second EP, aiming to expand his sound by incorporating more instruments while staying true to simplistic style.
As he continues to evolve, Moody Slough remains dedicated to crafting music that speaks to the human experience, forging connections with audiences through his genuine performances.
