We are very excited to announce that after 16 months dark, The Hotel Cafe reopened on July 9th! While things have been somewhat different than they were in March of 2020, we are confident that the live music experience will eventually return to what it was. While we are hoping to accommodate as many patrons as is allowable, the current state of CA and City of Los Angeles guidelines require us to implement Covid Safety Protocols to help keep the environment safe for everyone.
UPDATED COVID-19 POLICY: As of November 8th: Due to the Los Angeles City Mandate, it is now required that our guests show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test (PCR or antigen and taken within 72 hours of the event) to enter venues within the City of Los Angeles. Proof of vaccination includes a vaccine card, photo of your vaccine card, or the CA QR code. We also ask that all patrons, staff and band members wear masks inside the venue. Thank you. In purchasing tickets and attending the event, you certify and attest that you and all individuals in your party attending the event will abide by the aforementioned regulations.
-As of Saturday July 18th, the City of Los Angeles is now requiring masks for all patrons. Please where a mask inside hotel cafe, except when actively drinking a beverage. We will update you as we have more info.
-Due to the County of Los Angeles Vaccine Mandate, it is now required that our guests show proof of vaccination to enter the venue.
-Slightly limited capacity, as well as more time in between shows to help sanitize surfaces and evacuate the air.
–Masks requirements for all employees.
–Upgraded HVAC filters.
–Sanitizer stations throughout the venue for patrons, as well as emphasis put on frequent employee hand washing.

From a close-knit family of local singer songwriters, to well known icons opting for a more intimate setting, the Hotel Cafe has been celebrating the live music experience for over 20 years. By hosting early career performances from names like Adele, Katy Perry, The Lumineers, Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Leon Bridges, Mumford and Sons, Sara Bareilles, and many others, it has been labeled a break out room for many independent artists.
The Hotel Cafe has two separate stages that run simultaneously. Main Stage has a capacity of 215 with seating for around 40 people. Second Stage is a more intimate room that holds 75 people with seating for around 25 people. Most tickets we sell are GA with no assigned seating. Tables are generally first come first serve, unless reserved by the performers.
The Hotel Cafe is located in the middle of Hollywood on Cahuenga Blvd, between Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd. Cahuenga blvd is 3 blocks west of Vine Street. We recommend UBER or Lyft when possible.
If driving, there are many parking options in the neighborhood, several paid lot and valet options. Street parking is also available around the neighborhood.
