LA-based alternative folk band Wax Owls celebrates the release of their debut EP “Cowboy Cologne” at the iconic Hotel Cafe. Blending introspective melancholy with pop and rock influences, Wax Owls crafts a sound reminiscent of The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, and Local Natives.
Their latest single “The Waiting Room” showcases Gerry Hirschfeld and Chris Tsaganeas’ emotive vocals and signature electric guitar riffs, diving deep into relationship struggles and personal growth. The upcoming EP promises a journey through disillusionment and resilience, featuring captivating keyboard hooks and dynamic percussion.
