Viola Hutchinson is an LA-based musician who burst onto the scene in late 2023 with her nostalgic debut single, “Ruby Moon.” Since then, her sound has evolved into a blend of dreamy indie rock with an alt-rock edge, seen in her single “Too Far Again”. In 2025, she unveiled “You Always Do,” a heartbreak anthem that tells a story of self-discovery, breaking free from the raw, addictive pull of first love.
With her debut EP set to drop this fall, Viola’s songwriting captures the essence of girlhood on the precipice of adulthood, transforming the chaos of navigating her early 20s into reflective, dynamic music. Whether performing on stage, writing in solitude, or jamming with her bandmates, she brings authenticity and emotion to every note. In between these moments, you can find Viola putting her friends on to the best restaurants in LA, throwing darts, or getting up to trouble at her favorite wine bar.
