Daniel Gum is an independent artist out of Kansas City who plays loud and introspective indie music—self-releasing his debut album Thirteen in 2020 and the follow-up The Great Conjunction in 2025, releasing 5 EPs and singles along the way. He blends his love for early 70’s rock with 90’s grunge/noise, also taking great inspiration from artists such as Elliott Smith, Sufian Stevens, Alex G, and Andy Shauf. Daniel has become known for his earnest and heartfelt songwriting, unique expression, dynamic live shows, and humor. Daniel and the band are in LA to record their next album with Luke Temple.
