Los Angeles’ pen pin is the new sun-soaked indie pop project from songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Jeni Magaña and Emily Moore. The duo are both acclaimed in their own right for their solo works as Magana and Total Brutal, as well as for their collaborations and session/tour performances with artists like Mitski, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Charli xcx, Good Neighbours, Lady Lamb, Jade Bird and countless others.

Originally meeting while touring with Mitski, the duo’s fast friendship and joyful, natural chemistry inspired them to channel their mutual love of vintage pop into the creation of their upcoming debut album. As shown at their dreamy live shows and on singles like “Fringe” and “The Boredom, ” the result of this “pen pinspiration” is a chill, hazy, retro sound that feels like lounging by a Palm Desert pool as afternoon becomes dusk.

Paige Pedersen is a storyteller whose music blends folk lyricism with alternative production. Known for her intimate, engaging live performances, she’s built a growing community of physical media lovers and a consistent live show audience. Her debut album, “/ Live Best Asleep”, released exclusively in physical form (CDs, cassettes, USBs) and direct download (via Bandcamp) on November 15, 2025, is a collection of stories exploring a religious upbringing, family conflict, moving cities and how desire is woven into it all. With standout tracks like “Gate 13 COME WITH ME” and “Pinch me, I’m dreamin’ WAKE UP,” the record showcases Pedersen’s lyrical world-building and her ability to support her stories with a specific, nostalgic, and unique sound.

Fish is a bassist, illustrator, engineer, and a lover of local music scenes. You can find him in the corner of venues and house shows dancing with a sketchbook and ink brush pen in hand. In 2019 he began writing original music, and with the speed of molasses he has put together setlists of poetic guitar-led tunes with playful structures and strange time signatures, written for animated characters in an unrealized world. In the future (this year?!?) Fish plans on releasing his originals in a virtual band called “Fisheye Dragonfly”, which will feature animated music videos and artist collaborations (like Gorillaz, but folksy and small). Live music is the biggest joy – ya can’t let project timelines get in the way of playing music and sharing art with your friends on stage!
