IWD’s official slogan for 2026 is “Give to Gain,” which emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organizations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. Giving is not a subtraction, it’s intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise.
Whether through donations, knowledge, resources, infrastructure, visibility, advocacy, education, training, mentoring, or time, contributing to women’s advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world.
We’ll be doing so by spotlighting several women-run/focused charities including VoteRunLead, supporting candidates and leaders of today and tomorrow, The 100 Percenters whose mission is to empower and uplift music creatives, with a particular focus on BIPOC and marginalized communities, by providing them with essential resources, support, and education, ensuring that they have equal access to opportunities and revenue streams, and Jhpiego, a global nonprofit organization affiliated with John Hopkins University that partners with governments and communities to improve health care for women, children, and families, ensuring access to lifesaving care, essential health services (including maternal, newborn, and child health), and delivering high-quality, sustainable, and equitable healthcare solutions.
