Ally Bakst

Ally Bakst is a singer, songwriter, and producer from NYC now based in LA. She works primarily independently, alongside a few trusted collaborators, including her brother, JB. Ally’s sonic identity resides in the alt-pop electronic world, edging experimental while still leaving room for mainstream appeal. With her uniquely raspy, mysterious voice, immersive soundscapes, and visual, introspective songwriting, she creates music that resonates deeply and lingers. She draws inspiration from icons across time, including Fleetwood Mac, MGMT, Imogen Heap, Radiohead, Crystal Castles, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, Tame Impala, Lorde, The Marias, and Labrinth. Additionally, as a multidisciplinary fine artist—photographer, painter, and creative director —Ally’s artistic versatility and perspective shine through in her visual storytelling and ability to create multidimensional experiences for her audience.
