Australian-born, Los Angeles-based cult hero Andy Clockwise returns to The Hotel Cafe on May 1st, 2026 for a special one-night-only performance – marking both a personal homecoming and the closing chapter of an iconic venue that helped shape his journey.
Having come up through the rooms of The Hotel Cafe, Clockwise cut his teeth on its stage, building a reputation for raw, unpredictable, and electrifying live performances. Now, as the venue prepares to close its doors, he returns to where it all began – for one final night.
Following a period deep in the studio crafting his long-awaited new era of music, Clockwise steps back into the spotlight to debut brand new material. Equal parts theatrical, intimate, and explosive, the performance offers a first glimpse into his most ambitious body of work to date.
“After locking myself away, I want to tread the pavement again, spread the word, and get back to work. There was too much time to think – the stage doesn’t do that. It gratefully lets me not think at all. And I think all of us could get down to that,” Clockwise shares.
With echoes of Bowie’s reinvention, the theatrical weight of Nick Cave, and the kinetic pulse of Talking Heads, Clockwise creates music that moves bodies and breaks hearts in equal measure – blending existential poetry, New Wave swagger, and his unmistakable instinct for turning chaos into anthem.
The May 1st show at The Hotel Cafe is more than a concert – it’s a farewell, a return, a reunion and a rare invitation into the next chapter of an artist who has always lived on the edge.
