BICHA was born as Carla Pensalfine in Mendoza, Argentina. She defines her music as Filth Pop, an explosive mix of melodic pop and punk rock attitude. Growing up, she listened to Charly García, Madonna, and Oasis at home, and later discovered Nirvana, which blew her mind. Armed with her guitar, she challenges conventions and redefines female standards with unapologetic expression. BICHA is a symbol—a declaration of musical independence.
In 2022, she released her debut EP, “No Quiero Pensar Más,” establishing her presence in the music scene with a proposal that resonated with authenticity. In December 2024, she released a more rock-oriented EP, “L.A Tapes,” promising an even more energetic and challenging musical experience. This year, with the release of the singles “Alguien +” and “Aspirinas,” BICHA returns with a more expressive and vibrant sound, aiming to establish her Filth Pop sound within the Latin indie/alternative rock scene.
