Despite spending most of his time backing up the biggest names in music, Chris Joyner is no sideman. His well-received, sophomore solo record, “Domino,” which incorporates his primary influences including Dr. John, Stevie Wonder and The Beatles, is a 10 track album of witty confessional lyrics and versatile funky grooves. A native of Los Angeles, Chris Joyner has a reputation as one of the music industry’s go-to pianists and keyboardists. He is currently on the road with Ben Harper, recently toured with Cat Power, and has worked with many other artists including Heart, Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, Tom Morello, Amos Lee, and Sheryl Crow.
