Cynthia, an East Coast native, grew up in the New York City music scene. She moved to Los Angeles on the heels of the Northridge earthquake. Romanced by the indie DIY spirit, she started her own record label. She formed her beloved indie band Saucy Monky, with Dublin-born Annmarie Cullen. The girls went on to sign deals with 429/Warner Bros and Measured Records in the UK. They performed on festival stages with Wilco, The Cure, PJ Harvey, Pink, The B52s, Metric, Marianne Faithful, and more. They toured international clubs, performed on TV, and charted on Irish and AAA American radio. The team wrote songs for film, TV, commercials, and themes.
When Annmarie moved to Europe, Cynthia joined The Secret Things, a Los Angeles-based trio – who went on to release one record and various singles. The track Keeper was picked up by Loud Kult Records in Sweden. Cynthia continues to produce, write, compose, and collaborate between tours. In 2019, she returned to Irish shores for her next chapter of music-making. She put out a string of heartfelt singles and cinematic music videos (directed by Amazon Prime #AsWeSeeIt star, Sue Ann Pien). Suitcase premiered on the Hot Press Magazine Channel. Well known for her dynamic live performances, she recently toured with OURS, The Riptide Movement, and The Young Dubliners.
The latest single, Beautiful Bullet (Soft Crush Remix) drops on October 5th. The track was produced, performed, and mixed by the artist.
