Family not A Group (FNG) is a San Francisco-based artist collective consisting of 17 members from diverse backgrounds. They are dedicated to promoting shows, music, community activism, and spreading unconditional love. FNG is a dynamic collective of artists, musicians, and community activists who are passionate about making a positive impact in the Bay Area and beyond through their respective mediums.

The collective’s mission statement centers on their commitment to the cultural movement in the Bay Area, with family at the core of their actions. They push themselves and other creatives in their community to be great and strive to provide an inclusive arts and music scene for the community, by the community. FNG spaces are designed to create a safe environment for people from all backgrounds to express themselves and connect with others while preserving underground culture.

Professor Gabel

A dense lyricist, PG goes bar for bar with Frisco stars like San Quinn and Stunnaman02 on his albums The Bay Lebowski and Niche Hors D’oeuvres. Also a connoisseur of fine dining.

Afterthought

The Mayor of Frisco. His album Communal Healing was named one of KQED’s Best of 2023 and he’s toured around the world with his band, the Top Chefs.

Djsay

Both a gifted DJ and rapper, DJSAY lends his smooth voice to many hooks in the Sutro discography. He’s spun sets all over the Bay Area including Emporium and Cal Academy of Sciences
