Feef

FEEF is a childhood nickname for Singer-Songwriter Fjaere (Fierra) The story goes like this.​

Feef graduated from Harvard University, went back to Edinburgh, Scotland, and started busking in the city streets. She was discovered, recorded, and then entered into a publishing deal with Zomba Music in London.A demo sent to Yamaha Music landed Feef at Abbey Road, where she performed for Gus Dudgeon (Elton John), John Leckie (Radiohead, Stone Roses), and Sir George Martin who chose her to represent the UK as Best Newcomer to perform in Japan at The Yamaha International Music Festival.

Since then, Feef has worked with legendary producer Richard Perry as part of Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss’s Rondor Universal Publishing Group, and developed her own Bloomfield Studios, a small production house, releasing recordings independently under her own label, Little Friendly Music.

In 2022, Feef met producer Fernando Perdomo. Both Cleo September, and then Cleo Redux were created. These albums have drawn Feef into the International Pop Overthrow world, as well as the vigilant fans of Harry Nilsson who stage yearly musical tributes.

Feef met Chris Price through Fernando Perdomo and immediately felt a musical synergy.

Summer 2024 celebrates the first release of SPECIAL FRIEND ONE, a collection of six happy songs produced by Mooney with Perdomo and Price.

Feef continues to perform as Feef and Friends, with Perdomo and Price, and is also a part of a Violent Femmes style power pop group called THE F CLUB. She is currently working with Americana friends in HARVEST MOON, a Neil Young acoustic project, and, as a multi-instrumentalist and producer as part of two indie Americana and Pop collaborations with new artists in her North Hollywood studio.
