Feef Mooney

July 25 8:00 pm PDT

Second Stage

Doors Open: 7:30

$15

Feef Mooney’s music style is a blend of folk, rock, and pop and lyrics compiled from personal diaries.
She’s described as a folk-rock singer-songwriter with a gentle intimate sound
who draws inspiration from artists like Joni Mitchell, Sandy Denny, and Chrissie Hynde.
Her guitar style reflects an obsession with Stephen Stills and the Laurel Canyon scene of the 1960s as well as Richard Thompson, and John Lee Hooker.

Her recent album, “The Really Real”, represents the painful journey from the loss of a loved one toward the light of release.
It’s personal and confessionalist but also jammy and open.

Producer John Leckie (Radiohead, The Stone Roses) described Feef’s performances as “the perfect blend of sweetness and aggression.”

David Belcher of The Glasgow Herald writes: ” A voyager into the realms of the human heart.”
