Gamma Ray Gun is the multifarious indie rock vehicle of the Gutierrez brothers; Justin Gutierrez (vocals/guitar/bass) and Jacob Gutierrez (vocals/guitar/bass). After years of pursuing creative projects individually, they finally – if not inevitably – found themselves writing together. The brothers brought in lifelong friend and frequent collaborator, Rob Tonsick (vocals/guitar/bass), whose familiarity and chemistry made for a natural fit. Rounding out the project, James McCutchen (drums) expertly captains the group with an adhesive precision that seamlessly blends the varied influences of each writer and their spectrum of song and style.
