Great Aunt is an award-winning Australian folk duo known for their soaring harmonies, unique instrumentation, and heart-felt live performances. Winners of the 2024 Folk Alliance Australia Duo of the Year, Megan Bird and Chelsea Allen blend folk, country and roots music with influences from their backgrounds in punk, jazz, soul, and rock to create a sound that is at once familiar and entirely their own. With three U.S. tours under their belt and a debut full-length album, It’s All Downhill From Here, due in 2025, the duo will return to North America on multiple occasions this year, with performances at Ossipee Valley Music Festival and Red Ants Pants Music Festival, amongst others. Their music is equal parts joyful and vulnerable, and delivered with warmth, wit, and undeniable soul.
