Singer-songwriter Guillermo Vasquez released his debut album “Nowhere to Go but Everywhere” in November 2025
The title, borrowed from a Jack Kerouac quote, is a declaration of the 6 year trip the born-and-breed Angeleno took after the 2020 COVID Lockdown.
Post-breakup and post-college rebel bullshit, he took to traveling the open roads of the Pacific Coast with a guitar and a car and some money saved from donating plasma or working as a line cook. Spending his time in Seattle, Santa Cruz, and Los Angeles; his love of the Pacific States is the backdrop to his folksy-indie guitar tunes.
He writes about himself and his issues but also, he sings about the stories he heard and the friends and folks that we meet in everyday life…but never really think about for more than a few interactions. Every person’s a novel if you’re willing to spend the time to listen and think about them.
