American Songwriter has hailed Jackie as “crafting some of the most beautiful, compelling Americana today”.
Jackie has released five albums – Thirsty (2002), Crazy Love (2007), Freedom (2010) and Shot of Gold (2015) – Outsider, ( 2022) and is currently working on the 6th album Goldmine due for release (2025). Her exquisite song-craft and compelling live performances have seen her share the bill with Bonnie Raitt, Boz Skaggs, Chris Isaak, Tommy Emmanuel, Steve Miller Band, Foreigner, Art Garfunkel, Phoebe Snow and John Waite.
Jackies songs have been heard a on The Brokenwood Mysteries, Euphoria, Young Sheldon, Kevin Can F**K Himself, The Way Home, Paper Girls and more.
Jesse Lynn Madera is celebrated for crafting musical tales with profound and relatable lyrics while effortlessly blending diverse genres. American Songwriter praised her saying, “Madera’s lyrical and piano-driven songs are passionate and alluring, with a dramatic, ethereal, and almost otherworldly tone. Evoking comparisons to the shapeshifting brilliance of Kate Bush and the confessional pop sensibilities of Tori Amos.” She has had a significant festival presence appearing at Mile 0, 30A, Annapolis Songwriters, and Mile of Music. Madera was selected as a headliner for WMOT’s Finally Friday live concert series in Nashville, further solidifying her musical prowess. A dynamic performer, she has provided show support for acclaimed artists like The Zombies, Navarro, Maddie Poppe, and Mary Fahl.
