I wrote this song “Ache” in 2005. It has had an amazing journey since. appearing on 7 US tv shows including Smallville, ER and The Vampire, has touched the lives of so many and gone on to have over a millions streams. From being given a violin at 3, learning the piano from 5 and becoming a chorister at 8..to writing my first song at 18 then getting signed at 25 with my first band Little Giants…it’s been an extraordinary experience. My goal is to share music with those who want to discover it. I’ve headlined Shepherds Bush Empire, The Bedford, Ronnie Scotts and Bush Hall in the UK. Played at The Bitter End, Joes Pub, The Cutting Room in New York and The Baked Potato, Hotel Cafe and The Mint in Los Angeles . Recorded with an orchestra at Abbey Road and Henson Studios with Michael Landau, Abe Laboriel, Abe Laboriel Jr, John Trivers, Alex Smith, Carmen Vandenberg and Luis Conte. Get Ready! – Four professional musicians met working for Trivers Myers Music in Los Angeles and discovered that they had a love for making songs together about daily life in the city. Liz Myers, founder of Trivers Myers Music, was so inspired by the sound of Jackie Vae’s voice, tha she wrote several songs for her, Albertsons being the first. Brett Schopper, engineer, brings his own special concoction of audio magic to the combination. And Julian Trivers, son of Liz and John Trivers, composes drum loops, basic harmonies, and arranges all of this with the help of his own arsenal of live musicians based in Toronto. Welcome this new collaborative team to Hotel Cafe.
