New Album Coming Soon

Whitney Tai is a multi-award-winning songwriter, vocalist and GRAMMY considered artist crafting lush and evocative pop-rock. Symphonic and cinematic, AllMusic.com writes, “Tai’s signature sound of electro-pop, rock, and alternative metal is powered by her nuanced, soaring vocals.” Teaming up in 2015 with #1 Billboard producer, Tim Janssens, the two carved out a distinct pop-rock sound on their acclaimed albums, Metamorphosis and Apogee. Named Best Vocalist in the 2021 ICMA awards and Best Pop album by Progarchy, the NYC native has written music since her pre-teen years. Upon arrival to LA, Tai’s cover story on the 50th anniversary issue of Aquarian Weekly, her boutique performance with Warm Audio and headlining show at 2020 NAMM marked the beginning of a new artistic chapter.” Tai has written and performed in a number of projects: Sunfreakz, Beauty in Chaos, Julian Beeston, Harry Vato and multi-platinum artist, Chuck Wright. KNAC Radio calls Tai’s and Wright’s rendition of “Army of Me” by Bjork a sultry and haunting version of a Bjork classic. Tai launched her newest downtempo project BLAKTAI in 2023 with a cover of Low’s “All Night” which Alan Sparhawk writes, “soars to new heights and horizons.” With a number of new releases out now and a third studio album due later this year, her ethereal, sensual and dreamy works demand all of the senses.
