Nolea, the Los Angeles-based Indie Rock band, made a powerful entrance into the music scene with their debut album, “The Past Five Years,” released on April 5th, 2024. What began as Tyler Sapp’s solo project has now evolved into a dynamic quartet.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Radiohead, Manchester Orchestra, Copeland, Coldplay, and Japanese House, Nolea’s sound is a captivating blend of rock, layered vocals, atmospheric tones, and pop influences. The album, which has already amassed 70k streams on Spotify, is a deeply introspective journey reflecting Sapp’s personal experiences over the past five years, marked by significant life events and introspection.
With a second album in the works, Nolea is actively performing live shows around Southern California and is set to leave a lasting impression on the indie rock landscape.
