Miss Not Ma’am is an indie-pop duo from Los Angeles, CA.

Self-produced by James Graham and led by Kelsey Schulte, the duo creates pop music with post-punk and 80s electronic elements.

The duo released their latest single, “Called Me Out” in May 2024. Schulte states “Called Me Out is about the complexities of a close relationship coming to an end. Reminiscing on good times, but ultimately the downfall of one person holding in everything until issues boil over.”

Schulte and Graham released their first single, “Sometimes I Miss You” in early spring of 2020. During the pandemic, Miss Not Ma’am recorded their debut EP, “Ahead of a Daydream.” In June 2021, they released their first music video featuring the title track from the “Ahead of a Daydream” EP.

The band has actively played shows since the release of their debut EP. Miss Not Ma’am packed the house for their LA debut show at Harvard & Stone in September 2021.

They have been featured on VoyageLA in the “Rising Stars” column, ShowlistLA, and The Pen, The Sword podcast.

Consistently evolving, and refining his strokes, BALCONIES creates their own isolated slot in the Indie Rock/ Pop Scene. Creating upbeat songs from “I’ll Go Slow with You”, and “8-MM Film”, to slower tracks that we follow BALCONIES introspection through “Curtain Call”, and “I’m Fine”. Taking Inspiration from artists such as Dayglow’s Synth-wave and Indie Guitar’s, through The 1975’s story writing, and FINNEAS’s production – BALCONIES continues to grow and evolve their skills in recent work.

Picking up everything within the industry from Music Production and songwriting, through Film, and Live event Production: BALCONIES members have mastered many areas of performance that now allow them to share their passion and platform with those that wish to join. From starting in Quarantine via the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, through today BALCONIES has and will always continue to push his limits beyond what those say they’re capable of.”
