Pehuenche es el proyecto musical del cantante mexicano Rafael Mesa, quien en su obra recorre un proceso de sanación; un proceso, liberador, que desata nostalgia y melancolía para reconocerse como ser humano y a la vez como espejo de sus escuchas.
La ejecución en vivo de Pehuenche te envuelve en una energía misteriosa, para llevarte a un espacio íntimo y delicado, a través de un ritual de catarsis, generando un diálogo interno que recorre las fantasías, temores y alegrías,siendo un dechado que emana resplandor y despertar a la hora de ser escuchado.
Con más de 10 años en la industria musical, Pehuenche enmarca en los arreglos musicales la peculiaridad de su andrógina voz, guiño que resulta perfecto para el escucha, quien logra colocarse en un espacio poco habitado, generando un efecto de intros-pección personal.
Escuchar a Pehuenche es una experiencia que puede teletransportarte a un lugar poco común, pero familiar, amoroso y honesto.
Se ha presentado en festivales nacionales e internacionales como SXSW 2021-2024, Tecate Comuna, Machaca 2019, LAMC, Bahidorá, entre otros.
Actualmente se encuentra promocionando su álbum debut ‘Vida Ventura’, disco que lo ha llevado a pisar escenarios por toda Europa y Estados Unidos.
En el año 2022, Pehuenche fue nombrado en el festival LAMC en Nueva York, como “Artista revelación”.
Pehuenche forma parte del Roster de artistas de la disquera Nacional Records
y la editora Peermusic.
