Syannah is an Austrian singer-songwriter who grew up in Vienna and now resides in Los
Angeles. Her music is rooted in personal storytelling. She combines acoustic-tinged ballads with
catchy pop songs, integrating elements of country, rock, and indie. Her lyrics draw from real-life
experiences, creating songs that connect deeply with listeners.
Growing up, Syannah faced self-doubt and insecurity, which initially kept her from pursuing
music. After several years of intense self-reflection and inner work, she returned to the guitar,
driven by a desire to fulfill a childhood dream she had once set aside. This profound journey of
self-development not only inspired her to follow her dreams but also deeply influenced her
approach to songwriting.
Syannah’s songs, such as “That Girl” and “Back to Paradise,” reflect her journey of inner growth,
while “The Outcast” embodies the inspirational aspect of her music, encouraging others to fully
embrace themselves. She believes that “We don’t need to be perfect to be perfect” and strives
to encourage people to love themselves as they are.
She shares her personal experiences related to mental health and psychological topics not only
in her songs but also extensively on social media. She uses her platforms to discuss these
themes openly, connecting with others who may face similar struggles. In her live performances,
she creates an intimate space, being very honest and transparent about the stories behind her
songs. Self-reflection is a major theme in her music, shaping both her songwriting and her
engagement with her audience.
Through her work, Syannah aims to inspire others to express themselves fully and reach for
their goals, a sentiment which is also captured in one of her most popular songs,
“Born to Inspire.”
Her music has taken her to stages across Austria and Germany, including notable events like
the Donauinselfest and Hafen Open Air in Vienna. In 2023, she delivered a Ted Talk at Tedx
Donauinsel, and later that year, she embarked on her fourth tour through Germany. In 2024,
she made the move to Los Angeles to further her musical career.
