The Spotlight Sessions Presents: Alison Albrecht, Tess Clare and Out in Front

Combining the likes of pop, folk, and soul with sharply insightful songwriting, Alison Albrecht consistently captivates audiences from concert venues to living rooms. Her sound is bold yet ethereal, drawing from the likes of Carole King, Sara Bareilles, and Maggie Rogers.

Growing up outside of Detroit, MI, Alison began performing at nine years old and by 12, she was regularly gigging at restaurants, festivals, and private events. Alison has since opened for The Steve Miller Band, Troye Sivan, Charlie Puth, Melanie Martinez, and more, receiving praise for her vocal ability and captivating stage presence.

Most recently, Alison was seen on Season 24 of NBC’s The Voice on Team Reba McEntire. She is currently based in Los Angeles and her latest single, “All a Lie (feat. Kayde)” is out now on all streaming platforms.

 

Tess Clare is an independent artist based in LA. Tess’s songs draw primarily on her experiences, bringing the listener along on her journey through relationships, self-exploration, and the waves of joy and anxiety integral to coming of age.

Tess began her training as a musician when she was quite young, writing and recording as early as 13 years old, in her hometown, just north of Chicago. She attended and graduated from the fine arts boarding school at Interlochen Arts Academy in Traverse City, Michigan, and then went on to Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she earned a degree in songwriting. She has since released two EPs and consistently releases original singles every few months. Her latest single release, “Never Be a Boy,” is #1 in Grammy’s 2024 Pride Month Playlist.

Tess was recently selected by Ones to Watch, under Live Nation, to play her first music festival, Music Midtown in Atlanta. Now that she is based in LA, Tess plays live shows monthly with her band. Tess’s influences include a melange of Amy Winehouse, the 1975, Edith Piaf, Adele… Inspired by their sounds, Tess transfers raw emotion into power.

 

Out in Front is a Los Angeles-based band that serendipitously met at a tennis club where they are all tennis pros. Starting by jamming in a garage, the three band members, Madie, Isaiah, and Ryen, immediately knew they had something together. Coming from all different roots and having various musical tastes, the band has unique inspirations. Nonetheless, they all have one major thing in common– their passion for music. Blending Southern California sounds with pop-rock influences, Out in Front makes music that sparks the desire to take a trip down the PCH. The band caught the attention of influential producer Drew Allsbrook (AJR, Ice Spice, Doja Cat), who  joined forces to complete their debut tracks and are currently working on a full-length release
