Tristan Dolce is a songwriter, producer, and audio engineer based in Los Angeles.
He has released two records: Medium True in 2024 and the newly released Amory & Eleanor. Medium True is a non-narrative collection of songs drawn from personal experience and literature, focused on internal reflection and observation. Amory & Eleanor is a narrative record set on Catalina Island and draws from the “Young Irony” section of This Side of Paradise as well as historical events and the paranormal.
The record adapts literary structure rather than plot. Characters and scenes are displaced geographically, lending a sense of surreality. The songwriting remains inward-looking, concerned with memory, self-examination, and the accumulation of small moments. Arrangements are kept simple, allowing the focus to remain on sequence, mood, and detail.
