Hailing from Seattle, WA (by way of Brooklyn and Chicago), Warren Dunes is a power trio led by Massey, and consists of brothers Jared and Dominic Cortese. Their unique style of tropicalia-infused indie rock, often referred to as post-modern beach music, was born from the cold waters and gray sky beaches of the Puget Sound. Their music is highlighted by Massey’s double keyboards and crystalline voice, soaring over chimey guitars and danceable beats.
For their Los Angeles debut, Warren Dunes will be performing as a duo, with Julia and Jared bringing their signature sound to the valley following appearances at Boise’s Treefort Music Fest, Seattle’s Capitol Hill Block Party, Bumbershoot, and a West Coast tour as they celebrate the band’s first single release through LA record label Mother West, which showcases a nostalgic cover of the song “Leaves From the Vine” from the cult favorite and hit series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”
They’ll still sound like a trio, however, with Massey on her signature double keys.
This show rides on the coattails of a very exciting year for Warren Dunes as they continue to celebrate the 2024 release of their second LP AQUAMARINE
