Bette Midler and Arif Mardin also received Record of the Year Grammies for Bette’s version of the song. “Wind” has received 7 ASCAP pop awards, including a Song of the Century award, and was recently recognized as one of the American Film Institute’s 100 Greatest Movie Songs.
His credits include the opening theme to the hit NBC show ‘My Name is Earl’.

Hayley Orrantia is a singer/songwriter, producer and actress most known for her role as Erica Goldberg on the ABC sitcom The Goldbergs. As a musician, she has opened for artists including Colbie Caillat and Brad Paisley, performed as Nicola in Kinky Boots at the Hollywood Bowl, and placed runner-up on season 7 of The Masked Singer as The Ringmaster. Her original music has appeared in projects she has starred in, such as Pureflix’s God’s Not Dead 2 and Lionsgate feature Christmas Is Canceled for Amazon Prime. Orrantia continues to release original music alongside her work in film and television.
Jess Furman is an Emmy-nominated creative, songwriter, and music producer whose work has earned a Telly Award, Clio Award, and a Gold Record. Her music has been featured in over 300 placements across film, TV, video games, and advertising, with clients including Viacom, Hasbro, DreamWorks, MTV, and Netflix. A former touring artist, Jess was recognized by Billboard as a top industry-shaping executive for her advocacy on behalf of creatives through her production company, Sound Revolver, and nonprofit, Motion Creative. She previously served on the board of SONA and as a Governor for the LA Chapter of the Recording Academy, where she continues to serve on the P&E Wing and Advocacy Committees.
